At St Ann’s RC Primary, we recognise each child as a unique and precious gift from God. Rooted in our Catholic ethos, our Early Years Foundation Stage provision nurtures the whole child - spiritually, emotionally, socially and academically – within a loving, safe and stimulating environment.

We follow the EYFS statutory framework while embedding Gospel values throughout all aspects of learning. Through play, exploration and carefully planned teaching, we encourage every child to develop their faith, curiosity and love of learning.

Our children are supported to grow in confidence, independence and resilience, while developing positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging. We provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and make connections, both indoors and outdoors, building the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need for their future learning.

We celebrate each child’s individuality and recognise their unique strengths, interests and experiences. By working closely with families and creating a nurturing and inclusive environment, we help every child to flourish and become a confident, compassionate and valued member of our school community.
